97-92 96-93 96-93 Escalante[/quote] I didn't have the fight that close. Escalante fought the fight like an idiot. Great fight for us fans, terrible way to take on that type of opponent.
Escalante is a Golden Boy fighter so it will probably won't happen. I don't think Oscar will risk it unless big bucks are involved.
Just great. Wow, what a fight. So stoked I had to reach for ESB to see what all you guys thought. It seems like FNF produces more action fights than any other broadcast.
Escalante is definitely not a C fighter. At worse he is a B fighter. He is rated by The Ring #8, #3 rated by WBO, #5 rated by IBF, and #5 rated by IBO,
Escalante could have done a Peden on Roman(when he crossed his arms and just stood there), was he a gentleman or just cautious:think
let's have escalante v poonsawat. don't use escalante up in non title wars. escalante is WBA top contender at 122-pounds. come on, let's see GBP make an offer to poonsawat, thailand's best current fighter (and a hell of a champ, good pressure fighter with non stop workrate).
That **** had me crying... funny stuff. I thought the fight was simply amazing. The heart displayed was breath taking. I was confident the fight wouldn't go 7 after seeing the first 3 rounds. I was wrong as hell. I congratulate both fighters on the performance tonight. FNFs has been very good IMO this season, looking forward to next week. I will also add, that yes the skill level wasn't "elite" in the ring, but the excitement and emotion it evokes from its viewers is something that can rarely be matched-let alone exceeded.
Great scrap. Id idn't think it was as close as 96-93, but i give a ton of credit to Roman for having some big onions. He was relentless.
