Gonzalez is looking better with every fight. Any news on who he's defending against? Who would you like him to fight? I think a unification with Solis would be fantastic. 2012 Gonzalez vs Segura..epic.

Calderon would do, just to see how he'd get on with him in comparison to Segura.

Chocolatito-Segura is a no-go, because Gio's stepped up to fly.

As of right now for him, just someone like Romero would do me fine, he's past it a bit and not all that good, but he's still relatively proven and better than Salado or Chango.

Problem for him is two things, he hasn't carried his power up very well, and his defence is very, very leaky. In the Chango fight he was giving so much more trouble than he should've ever found hmself in, all because he out-punched himself because he was too eager to try to take Vargas out, gased, and just about got through it unscathed, when all he had to do was get on his toes and out-box the guy, which he has the talent to do.

His offense is so immense that he ditches his defense almost entirely. He's so, so adept at putting combinations together, such a wide variety of blows and shot selection, but he negates it almost by not defending himself. They made it out to be a masterclass against Salado but it really wasn't. He battered the guy because he was on a whole other level, but it wasn't as if he didn't ship an awful lot of shots in the process. He needs to sort that flaw out, because if he continues in this way, he'll get shocked by a much lesser fighter who was just to physical for him.

He's moving back to straw, to challenge Raul Garcia in all likelihood.

I know, it's a shame he hasn't carried his power up. He can still dig a bit at LFW. He has got a leaky defence, he is quite sneaky though and you get the impression he is harder to hit then he looks. He still has plenty of time though and for my money is the best talent below bantamweight.
