Roman Gonzalez: Estrada Won The Fight, But Was Robbed!

I didn't like SSR beating Choc. I was trying to find rounds for Estrada but alas I could not. You could make the case for some rounds for Estrada but the truth is SSR was out working him once he started showing his unbelievably sublime boxing skills. Estrada put up an excellent fight, good boxing skills and excellent hard counterpunching, but I believe SSR's power had him worried he'd get sparked out so he waited for him to tire a bit.

Still a fan of Choc and Estrada, but am now a believer in SSR. My apologies to him for vastly underrating him.

 

Estrada started well and ended VERY well...but went missing for much of the fight. An 8/4 or 7/5 type win for Srisaket

I had 7-5 Wangek and was more likely 8-4 than 6-6 even. No way did Estrada win more than 5 rounds.

I thought Gonzalez was robbed in the first fight with Wangek. I thought it was fairly clear that Gonzalez outworked him. Just think if Gonzalez had of stopped pricing himself out of fights, he could have rematched Cuadras or Estrada instead. Instead, he lost a controversial decision to an unknown guy, whose three previous fights were against guys making their pro debut, and whose 12 fights before those were against an assortment of Thai bums, push cart vendors, and fisherman. So he ends up rematching Wangek to right the wrong of the first fight, and Wangek beats the **** out of him. I truly had Gonzalez winning his first fight with Wangek. I didn't have Estrada winning the fight last night. I had Wangek by two points. Porky Gonzalez needs to sit his arse down and shut the **** up.
