Got any idea what time these fights are gonna be on? I know they're not being televised, but what time do the bouts start?

Gonzalez is being ignored by Calderun so he should just move up and fight the winner of Segura/Canchilla. That would be a badd ass fight. Gonzalez is the truth.

That's what I said. ****ing boxrec had it listed that Gonzalez and Canchilla were fighting tonight so I was a bit confused. They've changed it since I last looked at. But, yeah, I don't think Canchilla is anything special

Gonzalez beat Rosas by majority decision on Saturday, in Oaxaca, Mexico. I was able to watch the first 8 rounds in very poor quality, so it was hard to tell which punch was blocked and which landed, but Gonzalez won most rounds based on what I saw. The first two were average paced rounds both fighters missing and blocking a lot, close, then from round 3, a brawl broke out, mostly inside fight or at close range, and Gonzalez seemingly landed the more meaningful blows, especially in 4-5. But he was in trouble in the 7th and Rosas was competitive in the 8th as well. How the last 4 went, I don't know. As I've said, Gonzalez won most rounds, but was missing a lot, and couldn't make Rosas respect his power, or show vastly superior boxing skills, so it was two-sided. To be honest, Roman didn't look like a fighter on another level. But I'd like to see a good quality, full copy of the fight.

Anyways, he moved to 23-0; 20KO and retained the WBA SW title. WBO SW champ Donnie Nietes also retained his title, by UD.

If you can get a download or link to this fight I would much appreciate it if you could give me a holler. Thanks for they synopsis of the fight regardless. I wondered if the scorecards were a reflection of Rosas being Mexican and the fight taking place in Mexico but it seems that wasn't the case for the most part. Thanks.

Given the fact that Niida was probably the best SW of the post-Lopez era, I think Gonzalez might have a very good case.
