There's a reason why he's being ridiculed whenever he asks for a 7 figure payday.

No subscriber on HBO/Showtime knows about this man.

They don't know how good he is or what he's done.

He needs to sign with Al Haymon to make the mega bucks. He has the skill to definitely wow fans. He just needs HaymonMagic.

Haymon gets his fighters the biggest paydays. :yep

As far as the point of the thread Roman should sign with anybody that gets him on mainstream TV, even Haymon

If he was with Haymon, Rock Nation would be throwing money at him

if roman's goal is to become less active and duck the challenging fights than go ahead.fighting in the lower classes you wont get the big money.he needs to keep moving up in weight while knocking out the best fighters in those divisions that's what gets him the paydays he wants.and one thing gaymon fighters don't do is fight the best.

I suspect Teiken have a similar clause to Haymon's final refusal and I don't see them handing that over. Roman has a bizarre promotional situation as it is.

I think the one thing you cant really hit Haymon on is activity.

Basically all of his fighters are kept relatively active.

    As for the last bit.
    Didnt Russell fight Loma?
    Didnt Garcia fight Matthyse?

Active? Like Quillin, Stevenson and Rodriguez?:-(

Garcia vs Matthysse was a good matchup but is over a year in the past now,

Russel vs Loma was a rare gamble by Haymon where the potential rewards outweighed the risks, but nonetheless a good fight that I'm happy was made. Unfortunately they are too few and far between

We'll see what happens next year when Uncle Al's big plans look likely to come to fruition but it's hard to argue 2014 has been a good year for the Haymon stable (except in so far as it's size goes).

I actually think his fighters are ridiculously INACTIVE and that is my biggest knock against him at the moment.

On the whole, I dont agree.

A few maybe could fight more, but most are very active.

I mean, once you get to world title level. I consider 3+ fights a year to be very active.

Well im not going to go through 130 fighters, but

Khan isnt as active as he could have been because he was saving himself for a fight that never came.

Guererro had legal issues so he hasnt fought as much as he shoiuld.

La Bomba took a big break after the Ward fight but seems to be back on track.
    Same with Trout.
