Who wins? I think it's going to end by KO

If Segura can impose himself he can definitely win. This is gonna be a tough one for Gonzalez because going to war with Segura would be a bad choice. Segura is probably his equal in terms of punching power and is certainly physically stronger.

I'm leaning towards Gonzalez but wouldn't be surprised at all if Segura won. I don't care who wins, once this fight happens.

Agreed. Bit of a toss. I'd ride with Gonzalez but a tough fight to call.

Gonzalez. Far superior puncher technically. He should capitalize on Segura's slow, wide open, telegraphed swings with counters all night long. It shouldn't be a long one, theoretically, with the advantages he has. Segura is pretty lousy in my estimation.

This fight would be amazing and is high on my future fight wish list.

Both hit hard, are strong and are tough but i would have to favor Gonzalez because of his superior skill compared to the very crude Segura.

Gonzalez has a decent jab when he employs it and i think he will use this to of set Segura's rhythm and let Gonzalez get his harder shots of on the of balance Segura. When Segura does mange to get of his wide, winging hooks Gonzalez will block, duck and parry these and counter him with hard, crisper shots of his own.

It will still be hard for Gonzalez as Segura is a tough ******* but i think a mid-late round stoppage or comfortable points victory for Gonzalez will happen.

Gonzalez for me, faster, more accurate and puts his punches together better. His punches are'nt as wild but his power is comparable.

Absolute shootout, does not go the distance. Question is can Gonzalez pull a Mosley on Segura and win in a similar way Shane did vs. Margarito? Giovanni got caught by a shitloads of flush Calderon shots throughout the fight. Now you could argue that he took a lot of chances knowing Ivan can't punch, but I don't think you can argue that he has a good overall defense, I see many holes in it, and Roman is lethal at short range with both hands. Of course Gonzalez himself was caught good early R2 in the Rosas rematch, but then very quickly put away a really durable opponent. He looked simply crushing at his new weight, and will only grow stronger.

The way I see it Gonzalez takes the fight to Segura who's job is to create a gap (a crisp jab could help) and keep Roman at the end of his long punches. Nobody, I mean NOBODY survives a shootout on the inside with Chocolatito, it's from the outside or he's taking you out. Fascinating fight, because I can see Segura pulling his stuff together to box using his reach advantage, but I can also see Gonzalez cutting down the ring and bringing the Mexican warrior out of Giovanni, which is a recipe for disaster vs. this little monster, especially the way he rips you to the body, which is the key shot in this fight.

Biased, are we? Because as far as I can tell, Gonzalez has never been KO'ed.
