PPV star? Not over here. He on BIG free TV contract with Fuji TV and PPV not work over here. PPV a silly business model.
I honestly havent followed Inoue in the pros that much but i've seen several of his fights in the ams and i can say its a mix of his viciousness, natural ability and his punching mechanics. Back when he fought as an amateur he was athletic as hell but his punches were what stood out the most in that they were completely free flowing, reckless and he would litterally throw his entire body into them, often times when he would miss he would fly right into the ground. Not sure if thats the case in the pros though.
I think Inoue needs more seasoning. Roman is as legit as it gets and he regularly spars guys that are bigger than him. I've never seen Roman even remotely wobbled in the ring and he has taken some big shots.
Inoue do same, he spar Iwasa, Tunacao and other bantamweight fighter when he at 108 or make move up. Maybe he spar with Wake next time
