Just watched a clip of him kayo-ing Varakin with a picture perfect uppercut

    http://www.warriorsboxing.com/

(click the link, choose multimedia from the top, click video gallery, scroll down and click the middle link for the vid) and was wondering what the general consensus of this fighter was.

I haven't seen a vid of him fighting before, and had only heard his name and seen his unbeaten record on boxrec.

    Opinions?

I've seen him several times. Big and strong, but really slow and plodding. He doesn't have the good to be a top contender at all.

Slow, predictable and untested. He doesn't impress me at all.

As in Tye Fields/Kevin McBride slow and plodding? Or not quite that bad?

    THE Varakin?

Greenberg is a very flawed boxer who has looked bad even against some of the hand-picked trial horses that have been fed to him (damn you, mixed metaphors!), so I'd be surprised if there's anything special for him in the future.

No, he's a little faster those guys but still only fringe world class at best and without the skills to improve IMHO. As someone else had pointed out, he's even struggled against opponents that were just there to make up the numbers.

I've only seen him twice, but I wasnt impressed. dont think he will ever be more than a mid level HW.
