Its clear there just isn't very many hard punchers at 112, Roman Gonzalez basically can just walk these guys down cause he is not worried about being hurt. Viloria is landing good shots but having no effect. Can't say I am a fan of Roman's all offense no defensive style. Looks to me that he can be outboxed if he goes up against a pure boxer. Also if he moves up in weight I think he will lose quick and easy

When you throw 5 or 6 accurate punch combinations instead of spending a night in a shell you are risking more. It doesn't mean he has poor defense

He seems to be a typical come forward power puncher. He has spent the entire fight on his front foot, very predictable and somewhat basic. He is dominating the fight but it is not what I would call P4P skill level.

Do you even know what you're watching?

He has amazing balance and footwork. He comes forward and throws beautiful combinations and has tremendous accuracy.

How many other fighters do you see fight like him? Every fighter is different in a certain way that makes them special.

Stop thinking that only one way makes you special. Mayweather was scared to fight Margarito. ****.

Maidana beat the hell outta Mayweather in the first fight and Maidana is as basic as you can get. He probably has an IQ of 51. And beat the **** outta Mayweather's ***** ass. Mayweather was all ****ed up in that fight.

He looked WAY more beat up than Maidana who got robbed by the judges.

That's why he was so scared of Margarito.

His defense is basically to just take the punch and keep coming forward, I have seen this style a million times

Come on? You watch that fight and tell me that is all he is? I think you have a limited vision of what P4P skill is. It's not like he is in a no talent division either. Everyone has their opinion though.

His objective is to win by KO. It's the best way to get paid.

Mayweather got paid because he doesnt' believe in God. So he sold his soul. If he does believe in God, then it is what it is.

But you see, in business and in life, there is a risk premium. You get rewarded for risk.

That's why people like KO punchers. Cuz they take risks to win. For the risks he takes, he has great defense. He was easily beating Viloria in the first round without throwing many punches. Viloria didn't even land a shot.

He could have played FLOYD in there like a lil bltch if he wanted, but who the **** wants to watch that????

Not everyone want to sell their soul to the devil to get asses in seats.

    That's the Mayweather method.

If that is what you gathered from watching the fight, then maybe boxing isn't the sport for you.

Some boxers take punches bcus they can't avoid them, some boxers can avoid punches but take them if they know the ain't getting hurt and it's a strategy to use to entice his opponent to drop their defence so they can attack. Not sure what RG is tbh

Fans of runners always accuse offensive fighters of having a leaky defense.
