Soto has to get by Jesus Chavez, who by accounts still had enough to take David Diaz life and death.

  5. Unfortunately for Soto, he had to move up in weight because *****-ass Linares didn't want to fight and everyone else seemed to be moving to 135. Obviously Soto would be better suited to stay @ 130 but **** happens. The guy just needs a big fight, plain and simple.

Imagine Soto had been the one to crack Linares' chin? That would at last be the career break that's eluded him all this time! :-(

  7. A lot of peeps were on Linares' jock something fierce. It would've been a good fight for Soto.

So did Erik Morales as-well, which at that point was saying something. I think it's pretty evident that David Diaz was not much more than a 'paper-champion' to begin with anyway, and that Pacquiao beating most of took a helluva lot out of him. I'd be very, very surprised if Soto lost to Chavez in that regard, it should be heavy-bag practice for 'La Zorrita'.

Roman Martinez is yet a mystery, so is Soto. Soto gave his all against Guzman, and I hear he beat him. But Ali Funk also, and more widely defeated Guzman, I'd say both a top calibur but arent what you call top athletes....hmmm whatever that means. Two Great C-B fighters...
