how far can yuri romanov go? i have only watched one of his fights against thaxton and he seems to be a very solid well round fighter and he has vacated his european crown to go after bigger fights on the world stage but could he hack it against the diaz's, marquez's and casa's of this divison ?
I think he would have beaten Thaxton by UD but for the cut - he may win a strap but defending it against the elite may prove tough But hey - Khan ducked him so I hope he goes a long way

Murray wasn't in the equation for a shot at Romanov Thaxton is the best LW in the UK, and Romanov had his number, though the latter rounds would have been interesting taking into account the fact that Jono takes a little while to get going and his one punch KO power
i do like thaxton alot aswell i hope he can pick up the european title and get a crack at a world strap before he calls it a night, he deserves it hes a hard worker
