Leon p ,is part of team romeo therefore it's in his best interest to defend romeo,Leon do you have any input into Romeos training or do you just do what to do by his dad?,because I once had a conversation with a well known trainer who was in joe calzaghes corner in most of his fights in which he told me of Romeos dad giving him a written training schedule which he said that's what I want you to do with him tonight.The trainer told me his father wanted everything to envolve around romeo and to forget about his other boxers.So Leon beware if you have and opinion you will soon be caste aside like numerous people before and in future.p.s can you give me tips how to get obtrusive stomache muscles ,I do hundreds of sit up a week so do the other boxers in the gym we would be most grateful !

Trypical British hating on everyone. His is fighter not a dr who cares if he has some attitude. He looks fun in training hopefully he can transfer some of that

Incedentally I rem him coming to our club years ago as a kid and sparring pros. He used to do very well and the trainers though a lot of him. Does seem a bit over developed from a young age but everyone jumps to that conclusion he could be an early developer

FFS he mucks about in training and KO some kid in his debut. Don't understand negativity towards him

 

Haha this was some thread to read. Leon not making too many friends I see. Why do you feel the need to say approach me at a show? Is this to try and make out people are scared of you? Anyway mate your entitled to your opinion and apart from the unsavory end I though Romeo had a decent debut. Watching the fight I thought the first knockdown was more of a throw to the ground. I watched Pudisovs fight in Aberdeen 13 days earlier against my brother he is one tough kid. So when I seen Romeo had stopped him I thought we may have someone special. I watched the fight and in honesty I was not massively impressed. It was a close fight with a bizarre knockdown then an even more bizarre KO. Some people may disagree with the next bit.

Pudisov had fought 13 days earlier and had took some very very big shots. In my opinion he should not have been fighting 13 days later. I believe this had a accumulative effect on the outcome of this bout. I also worry that fighters being allowed to do this is dangerous for their health. Comparing both fights It didn't seem like the punches that Romeo were throwing were really troubling Pudisov unlike what happened in Aberdeen at times. What Romeo done at the end was shocking he needs to learn and fast. I hope he does!! As for next British champion no chance a Super Featherweight the lads are far too big for him.. In my opinion he need to get down to Super Bantam to stand a chance. He has good speed and movement but at 5ft 2, and against boxer 5 inches or more taller he will really struggle.

Got to say though comment of the week goes to Romeo Romeao.. People need to add him on twitter. He said to me that pudisov said to him it was like getting hit by lightening. Haha I've never been hit by lightening so I'm going to ask what It feels like
