    RIP. Great fighter to watch. Part of one of the best heavyweight fights of the golden era.

    Joe Frazier, Vasily Alexeev (legendary weightlifter) and Ron Lyle, there's the 3 as they always come in threes these big name deaths.. RIP to you all, I looked up to all 3.

    I wonder if there were complications from his prison stabbing ... he was pronounced dead in jail before he got out ... it might have been some sort of condition ... who knows ...

    Terrible and so sudden ..

    Sad news indeed.

    This reminds me of a couple of years back when we lost Arturo Gatti and Alexis Arguello close together as well. That was hard to take but losing two men like Frazier and Lyle who were both key figures in the biggest division during it's greatest decade makes it even more poignant.

    RIP Ron. You were a top fighter and an even greater story of redemption.
