    Again Tyson fan comparing bums with legendary fighters to somehow convince himself that Tyson cpuld defeat somehow!
    Ruddock=glass chin,weak stamina and only one hand!
    Bruno=glass chin and weak mind
    James Smith=scared and obly knows to hug and was also weak minded!
    Those 3 did not defeat anybody notable,lost to bums and did not beat any HOf and when they faced HOF(only one in theor carer)they lost!
    Did someone of them had power or chin if Lyle?Nope!Lyle had bette KO ratio than all of them,faced better competition,won against more HOF,used both hands and was good boxer and was not able to be scared and was not China chined like them!He survived Shavers and went to trade life and death with Foreman!If prime Shavers and Foreman faced Bruno,Smith and Ruddock they would be knocked inside of 3 unlike Lyle!You want convince yourself that Tyson was something bit Shavers was even at 42 years old harder puncher than Tyson and all guys who you mentioned!42 years old Shavers knocked Simms in 1st round and Mike needed 3!
    And about Lennox!Lyle stand taking again blows again harder punchers than Lewis!He not only survived Shavers bit beat him and almost beat Foreman!They both punched harder than Lewis and were stronger!
    You mentioned Quarry?That was Lyle first pro debut and Quarry was experienced fightef!He lost decision!Did Tyson faced one of top 10 ranked in his pro debut???I do not think so!If Tyson faced Cooney in his pro debut he would be beaten to death!Lyle went decision with Quarry!

    Even then Mike's people could see Holyfield's confidence was having an effect on Tyson at the press conference. So they felt they had to make up a story about Holyfield saying he would never fight a convicted ****** to try and get Mike's balls to drop. It didnt work.

    Whatever you want to say about them, they were super heavies with big punches. LOL @ calling top rated contenders "bums".

    While I think you could make a case that Lyle is superior to Ruddock/Bruno/Bonecrusher, I'd hardly say that's a trio of bums, even contrasted with Lyle. All three were hard punching, dangerous contenders at their best, who held their own in a deep era, and I wouldn't put Lyle far out ahead of them, either.

    Would have loved to see a prime Ruddock/Lyle fight in any case, though.

    If anyone was a bumb it was Lyle. Easy work for Quarry and Young. Yet he's giving Tyson a fight?

    Young was better than Tucker or Tillis!Tucker almost lose to old Young but younger Young?Easy work for Quarry??It was his debut against experienced good fighter who was in top 7 at that time!What was first Tyson fight and against who?Some tomato can!What would be if you put Tyson to face prime Cooney in his pro debut?Lyle atleast lost decision!Cooney would kill Tyson if it would be his pro fight!

    I met lyle in his locker room before his fight with Quarry in the garden - strong guy - He came out confident against Quarry but got rocked before the 5th -6th round and after that was careful in order to survive. Quarry had 2- fisted power but not near the power and combination flow as Tyson.

    Shavers was a powerful guy but flawed in technique and ran out of gas most of the time, Shavers was KO'd by Quarry,Stander pretty early, shavers always winded after a combo and if he didn't get you, he let many off the hook after hurting them or dropping them, he dropped Lyle hard but ran out of gas- Tyson rarely let some one off the hook but your right he faded later on in his career i just think any version of Lyle does not make it past the 4th-5th and I seem both men fight live many times but that's my feelings

    I see Mike getting dropped, too, but I agree overall. Mike in 5.
