This is cherry picking appearances on your part. Lyle had plenty of performances in the 213-218 range while Bert Cooper looked good at 214-215-217 etc. about the only thing I’ll concede is your point about Ron being 6’3” instead of 6’2” which really isn’t a big deal. At any rate I favored Lyle to win but Bert would give him hell when in good form.

He challenged Frank Bruno and Lennox Lewis on the same night. That shows how tough he is!

Curiously you mentioned the "213-218" range but you forgot to mention his 220 pounds in one of his best if not his best physical shape.
My point is that lyle looked perfect at 220 and cooper was clearly overweight even at 215

Lyle looked fine at 216 when he beat shavers and Cooper was equally fine at 215 when he gave Holyfield fits. Hell even at 224 he very nearly beat Michael Moorer. Lyle isn’t winning this easily

Cooper could always turn up a surprise, but I actually think Lyle might just mug Smokin' Bert, in this one, for as long as it lasted.

Lyle could box, as well as slug it out.

    Lyle W TKO 5.
