Top-contender of 70's vs top-contender of early 90's, two hard hitters. Who would have won prime4prime?
It's hard to separate them. They're the kind of Boxers that could fight each other 10 times and win 5-a-piece. The procrastinating Lyle, who allowed Quarry to thoroughly outpoint him, would be beaten by Ruddock. But, although he lost the battle of the KDs with George Foreman, that version of him I think would beat Ruddock.
Ruddock wasnt a slick boxer though, supposedly early in his career he pumped a nice jab, but Lyle hits harder imo, and is more durable, better boxer imo, thats arguable. Lyle late KO or decision.
