tough fight, tbh Brewster only impressed me in a couple of fights, against Wlad and against Goleta. most of he time he wasnt all that impressive, even lost to Kali Meehan if I'm not mistaken. I havent seen too many of Lyles fights, mainly just the Foiireman fight and his fight with Jerry Quarry. he was a great warrior though who I'm sure would have blown threw Golota all the same, and he definitely could have shattered Wlads fragile psyche, you had to be a real man to get in the trenches with Lyle and I just dont see Wlad showing that kind of heart.
Lyle for me. Clearly the better fighter IMO and I think this is a very good stylistic matchup for him
This fight is in Vegas, ‘78 Lyle is 6’3” 220 in Red trunks and Brewster is 6’1” 230 sporting the gold. First 3 rounds are a nice pace and then it slows after the fifth. The pace picks back up late in the 8th and Lyle drops Brewster with a uppercut followed by a right to the head in the 10th. Brewster beats the count but is on weak stilts...ref stops the fight, he knew it was not going to get better for Relentless.
