Norton I feel is a bit more of a sitting duck, not enough head movement, relied on the block and also relied on having respect from opponents and staying on the front foot, if an opponent was able to back him up or hurt him and could put punches together well, he became a sitting duck, because he relied on that block, but when they can throw combinations with power and precision, they’ll find gaps, Norton relied on aggression and throwing his punches off of his opponents punches to disrupt their combinations and rhythm, but if he’s backed up and forced to not throw as much, you have to rely on some slickness or back foot movement to avoid combinations, and that’s where Norton was vulnerable, because he had neither of those.
