I feel Wright high-guard plus jab could get him a competitive but well deserved UD tbh

I'd favor Wright's superior technique & shorter, straighter punching to win out in the end.

Wright beats the **** out of Barkley over 12 brutally one-sided rounds. Barkley last the whole fight because of his Grit, toughness and Winky's lack of KO punch.

I agree I love Barkley but Wright is all wrong for him he would be hitting arms and gloves all night long whilst getting his head jabbed off.

    Wright by wide UD.

Barkley would be all over Wright. He is bigger, stronger, hits harder, and is more aggressive. Only Wright's solid beard and defense sees him to the final bell. Wright does not have the firepower to deter a prime Barkley. He was a beast.

Wouldn't the same principles also apply to Kalambay?

Was thinking the same thing not to mention a 37 year old former lightweight king put Barkley on his back. Winky dominated way better fighters than Barkley.

Kalambay was a significantly better Middleweight than Winky. I watched Winky's entire career as it unfolded. His consistency and longevity were more impressive than his actual skill. Winky's late career success flatters him, as, he fought a lot of good fighters who didn't have much left in the tank. In his prime, Winky got beat up by Vazquez, and had 3 relatively close fights with with Bronco McCart for Christ's sake.

Wright fought Vazquez pre-prime and he schooled him in pretty much every round he wasn't KD in.

How many rounds was he not knocked down in? I remember him being bounced off the canvas over and over.

    I think Barkley overpowers Wright.

I picked Wright but am a little surprised at the poll results being so lopsided.
