if he was not hurt with punches then he can box again. The concern I had was that he was hit hard again, and he has been hit too much lately. I think what Ronald needs is to fight some lesser level guys with good chins and so great a punch, and get some rounds and confidence built. Then when he has about 40 fights, increase the competition. In that way he might do well, but if he fights good guys who can punch he will not learn anything and be stopped again. He has to get some fights added for experience and confidence.

    On a side note:

Lanardo Tyner fighting a CAN. And not even a good one?:huh

    But hope Ronny is OK.:-(

chitown, I think it was just a "stay busy" fight for Tyner and a chance to fight in front of the home fans. The crazy thing is, Tyner actually got legit dropped in the first round. He won the rest of the rounds, but there was good action in that fight.

Tyner said after the fight that he was just looking to stay sharp before his next fight, but he almost paid for overlooking that guy.

It can't be easy for Ronald Hearns to have a boxing career. Best wishes to him going forward, whatever he does. I hope if he does choose to continue boxing, that he has a management team that does right by him.

Edit: That referee should be banned from officiating fights until he knows the rules of the sport.

Ronald should have fought 45-50 times before he fought for a title. Sounds like a lot, but when you don't have the amatuer experience. He had a ok chin before, so maybe his body is just not absorbing the punches anymore. He should be fighting easy easy fights and building his record up.

He's absolutely terrible. I recall vaguely that he has some kind of academic degree, doesn't he? If so, he should use his brain for once and quit baxin.

"Referee Frank Garza handled the Hearns-Findley clash, the night’s main event, awarding the fight to Findley on a TKO." UFC rules? :think

I really don't know. I would like to see if there was a punch landed before he fell, that would clear it up for me.

I don't even understand how it could be a TKO. If a punch landed and he couldn't beat the count, obvious here, then it is a KO.

This guy should get out of the sport before he gets killed.
