How good do you think the guy is? Obviously he's got some might big shoes to fill. I doubt he can accomplish that much, but he seems to be a decent fighter that keeps getting better. I've watched him for the past couple of years and he keeps growing as a fighter.

How far do you think he can go? He's campaigning at 154, thats not necessarily a talent laden division. Do you think he can get a belt? Whats your likes and dislikes when it comes to him?

He's been improving, but I still don't see him as more than a future contender. He just doesn't seem very physically gifted and is relatively uncoordinated. If his last name wasn't Hearns, nobody would be paying attention to him.

Very interesting division were the current elite tend to be boxers (eg Martinez, Williams, Santos and Forrest) but with some great young sluggers ala Julio, Kirkland and Angulo. Has shown poer knocking out cans but i doubt he'd be able to dent the better fighters and can see them simply outboxing him. Woulden't mind seeing him against a C+/B- fighter like Ishe Smith or Sergio Mora.

That's the way to do it. Attack people for not coming in and storming the thread twenty to thirty minutes after you make it.

    Intelligent.

I want to see him succeed, but I'm not all too hopeful.

you're right. Go read my thread in the lounge and you'll see why I'm being a crabby mother ****er. My bad everybody.

    Anyway, thanks for responding guys.

I like the kid. I think he's improved quite a bit from the first time I saw him. I think its time for him to step up a bit. What I like about him is that he knows he's got alot of work to do and learning to do and he's willing to do that in the ring.

He has no illusions about where he stands right now, but he is confident in his ability to learn on the job.

I'm going to keep watching him.

I haven't been able to find any clips of his fights on youtube but for the most part he's doing well since he's undefeated. Though I think he should step up teh quality of opposition he's facing

So far, all I could say is, he's a better prospect than Chavez Jr.

I've been watching him all I can. I find him quite exciting, and he'll have his critics...especially being the son of a legend. The few times I've gotten to watch him, he blasts dudes out so fast I don't get much chance to see what all he's got. Good thread.

It would make for a hell of a Bill Board, huh?:D

He's a gatekeeper material. The Daniel Judah type.

    He's C level.

There's a ton of upside with this kid.

It's not easy being the son of legend like Tommy Hearns but he seems to handling it well. I like his prospects.
