Ronald "Winky" Wright.....Set to return January 2009 on HBO?

    If the below statements are accurate, Winky is returning in January 2009. That would be a year and a half lay off which is way too long for a guy his age. Below is an excerpt from the article above:

    So then it looks like that if Arthur Abraham will have an easy night with Raul Marquez, a fight between him and Ronald Wright is set in stone for late January as Pavlik won't fight either Abraham or Wright as he might very well take on the winner of JC/RJJ...

    Hmm... Arum said months ago HBO gave him a date for Pavlik/Abraham months ago. You have any sources?

    A Winky and Paul Williams fight is about as boring as it gets.

    Winky is too past his prime too take such a long layoff,he should have a toonup.Anyway the guy has been ducked all his career,what's another fight.

    Did even one of you read the actual post or did you see "Winky" and "Williams" and just assumed that they would fight each other in January 2009? HBO only promised Winky a fight, not a fight with Williams. Well, assuming this article is accurate. But at least it's better than never.

    I just ****i'n hope so.

    He cannot keep acting like a prima donna . . . he needs to fight and prove what comes out of his mouth, he is no longer inside the p4p list so I guess his feet is back on the ground now.
