Winky was one of the best light middle s of the modern era ,when he moved up to middle he was held to a draw by Jermaine Taylor .But would he have had more success against these guy s ? Chris Eubank Senior Nigel Benn Iran Barkley Steve Collin's Michael Watson ???
I think he would have beat all of them, I feel the only thing that bothered him more at middle was that he couldn`t exploit his longer reach as much, his long jab was useless vs Hopkins but none of the guys you mention here knew how to take away an opponents jab like B-Hop, I think Winky would have done well against any middle with a reach near his unless they were as good defensively as B-Hop was, he could use range better than almost any middle in history, I feel only great middles could beat Winky and none of the guys above was on Hagler`s level or had his reach.
