Tough call. Winky by Decision, if not G-Man by T/KO in the first half of the fight. I'd probably favor G-Man though.

The G-Man by mid-rounds ko if Winky decides to fight like he did against Vargas and Taylor.

Right.Gerald who lost to DENNIS MILTON is going to stop Wright WHO HAS NEVER BEEN STOPPED.
Winky survives some scary moments and wins a close decision.

Name one of Gerald's performances in which he shows he can beat an ultra slick boxer? Name one.

I think Winky would decison McClellan...but I'm not comfortable with the pick...Winky has the better fundamentals, but I don't know how he would react with someone who hit as hard as McClellan did...

This is a very interesting fantasy fight

    Several things come to mind:
    1) At 160, Winky has limitations. His legs aren't what they used to be at 154, he isn't fleetfooted, and he has a serious lack of power. Winky is a come-forward, volume puncher at 160.

    2) Taylor was busting through Winky's guard with power punches and he doesn't have nearly the power of McClellan. He hurt Winky on several occasions. I believe Winky's defense isn't as effective against bigger opponents.

    2) McClellan wasn't the most technically sound fighter - surely Wright is better in this department.

    3) McClellan never fought somebody with the defensive or jab of Winky. But at the same time, Winky has never fought somebody with the power of McClellan. If G-Man doesn't get the early or mid round stoppage, does Wright establish the jab and outbox him down the stretch?

Very tough fight to call. If forced to make a pick, I'd go with McClellan by TKO around the 6th.

What, when McClellan had back to back losses during a lull in his career (With a potential hand issue if I'm remembering correctly) before getting back on track when he got his **** together?

McClellan is heavily overrated in fantasy matchups because of his tragic end of his boxing career, IMO Wright is even at 160 lbs proven enough that I have to pick him to outpoint the "G-Man" to a comfortable UD...

Gerald stops him sometime before the 10th, bet the house on it. At 160 Winky is far more stationary and likes to trade more, and against G-man that is going to cost him dearly. Say what you will about Gerald, but the man did have a truly devastating punch and Winky has never met anyone who could hit him as hard as McClelland would have.

Gerald might be hitting gloves and elbows and forearms for awhile in the early going, but getting hit by that kind of power will evntually see Winky`s arms going lower and lower and as the fight progresses past the halfway point I think Gerald would have caught up to him and forced a stoppage. I like Wright and think he is a fine fighter, but the huge middleweight with the devastating punch in either fist would be a bridge too far for him IMO.

A badly damaged hand isn't a valid enough reason to lose two fights early in your career?

Wright is no slick boxer at 160, he just has a high defense that he has while he stands right in front and trades.
