Ronaldo Souza vs. Derek Brunson II & Dennis Bermudez vs. Andre Fili RBR

Bull**** decision Bermudez won all 3 rounds by my score with only 1 round possibly for Fili

 

I think compubox numbers can be overated sometimes but Bermudez outstruck him 130-74 but once again the judges overate takedowns, especially in this case with Fili having 4 takedowns that did nothing with apparently FIli only had 15 seconds of control time total for the whole fight LOL.

I think your right there mate, It was a tough pick but I thought at almost 40 Jacare whos chin was also questionable would get caught early but Jacare showed that Brunson hasn't really improved from there first fight and that he is still dangerous and 1 of the best at the weight.

There is a good chance Jacare will rematch Whitaker soon but it certainly does make Whitakers wins look even better imo and the main threat to his title is Rockhold who I think will beat Romero fairly easily.

 

I agree about that Romero fight which even with picking Romero to win I had it 29-28 Jacare and at worst a draw, I think the majority of media also had him winning or draw while only 2 had Romero winning. Its probably the fight to make imo with him against Romero after Rockhold beats him at UFC 221 or whatever fight gets him that deserved title shot.

 

Whitaker didn't beat Romero easily. The only reason he won was because of Romero's two round gas tank. Rockhold is not as athletic on his feet as Whitaker. What makes you think Rockhold will have it easy?

 

I dont think I said Whitaker did beat Romero easily but considering his knee was ****ed in the 1st round he won the fight clearly and impressively.Romero is definitely legit, I just think Rockhold matches up well and is better in almost every area with his chin possibly being his ultimate downfall.Rockhold will be the much bigger of the 2 if he does fight Whitaker and even though I think he poses a bigger threat I still think Whitaker can get the win.
