There are similar hypes in boxing with padded records and belts. We all know who they are.

While the stoppage in this recent fight seemed a little quick, it looks like this Rousey has a glass jaw just like the male MMA fighters.

Herb Deen saved her. She was out on her feet and would just continue to get slaughtered. It was a right stoppage IMO.

Rousey looked thin as in "in shape" but at the same time she did not look her usual muscular and cut. I am sure she trained like crazy but certainly something was different about her physical appearance. Was it overtraining......stale?

Holly Holm set the blueprint for others to follow. Stay off the mat and strike.
In Holm's case she used the laterals and made Ronda have to use her feet to chase while she peppered her with punches and set up bigger shots.

A good striker's focus against Rousy would be to defend takedowns first, strike second.

Although I'll say this about Rousy's gameplan against Nunes, it was outright dumb.
She went right at Nunes with her guard up in an attempt to punch her way inside.
You cant do that against a superior striker who punches as hard as Nunes.

Meisha Tate who just in Nunes's last fight got dismantled by Nunes had warned everyone that would listen that Nunes is by far the best puncher that has ever hit her.
I think Rousy's gameplan was to take Nunes' shots and work her way inside to get in position to take her to the ground.
Rousy probably thought that Nunes wouldn't move and run laterals around her like Holm did, which would give her the chance to take Nunes to the ground.
What wasn't figured into that gameplan was Nunes' punching power and the fact that in Rousy's last fight she had gotten put to sleep by Holly Holm.
You taste punching power like Nunes you've never tasted before and the first thing that will light up in your thought process was getting Ko'd by Holm.

Because of her superior punching power, Nunes was a terrible choice for Rousy to come back against in her first fight back after losing, but having done so, I think she should have gameplaned to inititally be defensive against Nunes' strikes. Dip down low and move the laterals to get Nunes' feet out of position where she cant punch so that then Rousy could attack and try and take the fight to the ground.

Would have served Rousy some good to take a look at some of Royce Gracie's stances against strikers.
Gracie always defended the strike first before he even thought about going inside to attempt to take the fight to the ground. Hell, in many instances where the opening wasn't developing for Gracie and his bigger opponent was coming in for the strike, Gracie would purposely jump back and throw himself to the ground and invite his striking opponent for a party down there. LOL!

The big mistake in Rousy was in thinking that she's evolved into a good striker when the Holm fight clearly showed she just has not.

Rousy has now been figured out and the MMA women's fighters are evolving as well and become more rounded to where they can figure out ways to be competitive against one trick ponies like Rousy.

    Chinny Ronda.

A few punches to the face and she looked scared for her life and didn't know wtf to do. Whereas someone like Tyson, Holyfield took big shots to the face but still looked very steady and ready to trade. Have no respect for such chinny fighters who cant take punches.

Ronda has no boxing skills at all. She paid a guy a ton of money for years to punch like this:

Look at the horrible punches. Her wrist twisting and no pop.

Rousey never fought a good striker before. She was usually bigger than the girls she fought and would bullrush across the ring throwing the big haymaker, clinch up as they back pedaled straight back and then took them down and submitted them.

Fans for years have been saying that Rousey was ducking Cyborg due to her striking ability. Even when she was running her mouth about being able to beat almost any man in her weight class and then the ultimate douchery, when she said that if the conditions were right she could've beat Cain Valasquez when he was HW champion. Yet, she continued to make excuse after excuse about not fighting Cyborg, and the UFC wouldn't line up that match up either until they had milked the cash cow dry.

I'm one who was happy Rousy got the snot beat out of her. Don't like people who don't have any sense of humility and don't respect others.
However, I didn't see it the way you did.
To say Rousy looked scared, I dont see that and I've seen the replay several times.
At no point in the fight did I see Rousy shell up, in fact she tried to fight back but just was simply overwhelmed by Amanda's volume and power.

Chinny? I didn't see Rousy go down and she took some major shots flush on the button by what could be p4p the hardest woman's puncher in the UFC.

You can fault Ronda Rousy for many things, but heart and effort are not one of them.

What heart and effort are you talking about?

A warrior does not go into complete hiding, not wanting to give press conferences, not wanting to be seen in public after an ass whopping.

Tyson got his ass kicked in Tokyo but even then he took some huge shots and lasted 10 rounds of heavy punishment and inspite of that he stuck in there till the very end and almost pulled it off with that Upper cut in round 8. In all his defeats, he showed he took take some really big bombs but made his opponents aware he could even the score with one big shot, in the Ruddock wars he took big bombs but never froze up, that scene in the first fight where he asked Ruddock to hit him one more time on his face was stuff of legends. And even in his defeats, when Tyson got hit with bombs, he never fumbled, wobbled, he embraced the punch and kept himself oriented, on steady legs and perfectly capable of striking back.

Ronda in both her defeats has been completely shown up, no ability to fight back, no ability to punch herself out of trouble and she froze up really badly in this fight, she shat herself after being tagged a few times.

The talk of Nunes Punching power, combinations is meaningless. If Ronda proclaims to be an all time great fighter, she is expected to deal with these challenges and fight back. This is the hurt business.

It's her reaction to her defeats which is even more off putting, her talk of being tough, wanting to knock people out, hurt them has all been exposed for what it is if it just took 1-2 defeats to make you lose complete confidence in herself, what kind of a fighter and warrior goes into hiding from the fans, media and others after getting their ass whooped.

Sorry but that aura has been exposed and all gone, all her endorsements and fan base will erode as well now.

I would disagree with you on her being completely rattled - IMO as soon as that first solid jab landed compared to her crap attempt showed it. I have seen plenty of amateur fighters show a bunch more heart, effort and sportsmanship than this overpaid scrub. Rousey talked a huge trash game these past years dropping pro fighters names - like you I am glad to see her get flogged.
