Fair play to Nate, you can see he's trying real hard to get a whiff of that ass.

He doesn't need to. Nick lets him have a turn at ground 'n pound with Ronda

I wish it wasn't the main event. Co-main, sure, but because of this, Hendo/Machida will not be a five rounder. This fight could have been the co-main, and we could have had two five rounders. Instead we are wasting the main event on a fight that has a very good chance of ending very quickly.

They might make it a 5 rounder....so the men get a 'main event' as well :think

Considering who these men are it'd be foolish for the UFC to make it a 3-rounder IMO.

Mind you Hendo will fall to pieces if it's 5 rounds. Gasses most of the time anyway, ****ed against Shogun, and with a massive hiatus (even if he'd returned for the Jones fight it'd been a long lay-off) and at his age he'll struggle IMO.

It's an odd matchup to consider anyway, Machida fights usually are. I still fancy Hendo to time Lyoto with a right hand as Shogun did in their 2nd fight. Even now I don't fancy Machida's awkward and varied striking to take Hendo out; guys chin is undentable.

I think Machida will take the UD, but I would have been more sure of that in a five rounder.

I can see it. As I say, tough one to pick. More hopeful that Hendo will bang him out, also definitely possible.

I would prefer that Hendo-Machida be 3 rounds rather than 5. :conf
