Because I criticise Heffron all of a sudden I hate Arnies gym? :-( and in regards to my comments on Butler in a previous thread, I was being honest, he will never make it to world level, he's a talented kid who's enjoyable to watch.

Why would I make that bet? I have no bias in this debate what so ever, I think Vassell will win comfortably, will he show ring rust? It's a possibility with the inactivity, so I'm not all that confident to take the bet.

 

I've only been to Arnie's gym once, and Heffron looked better in the gym than he has in any of his fights.

He's probably too enthusiastic if anything.

 

Vassell takes it on ponits, Heffron will win first few rounds but once Vassell warms up and gets going Heffron wont have the power to keep him off. Decent fight though.

 

Nail on head, once Ronnie produces his gym form that's when you will see the real Ronnie Heffron

 

So your not that confident in Vassel wining the fight to take the bet but in most of your previous post you say that Vassel will win make your mind up **** bag it says a lot about you when you bottle out of a bet

 

We heard the same about Craig Mcewan, Freddie Roach said he looks quality in the gym, so does Nelson, yet he goes out and performs averagely..because he's an average fighter.

Sparring's sparring at the end of the day, Froch looks British level in sparring, yet he goes out and performs at world class level in each fight, because he's a world class fighter.

It doesn't matter if you can do it in the gym, Heffron hasn't improved in the last 12-18 months.

I may be totally wrong but he seems very erm......not bright so I can imagine him trying too hard and not using his brain and realising he has to slow down
