    "Rooney must look at himself, insists Khan

    Amir Khan has told Wayne Rooney he only has himself to blame for the biggest crisis of his career.

    Khan reckons Rooney has brought it all on himself.

    “Some people attract attention in the wrong way,” he said.

    “Wayne Rooney has attracted it in the wrong way. That’s why he’s getting criticism.

    “With boxing it’s just a case of people not liking what you’re doing. With me – I started boxing when I was young and earned a lot of money.

    “I had blue chip companies sponsoring me and people don’t like that. There was a lot of jealousy.”

    “People said I was finished, that I would never be the same and I wasn’t the champion they all thought I was. But I proved everyone wrong. It was one of the best comebacks of any fighter in the last 10 years, to go from where I was to a world title.”

    I do agree with him that Rooney only has himself to blame. There's a reason why the likes of Giggs and Scholes don't get the media barrage Rooney gets.

    Who gives a flying **** about Rooney? Overpaid little ***** complaining that he's bored. Chav with cash is all he is.

    One of the biggest comebacks of the last 10 years?, I cannot believe he actually thinks beating ***in,Barrera and then Warren doing the hardwork gifting him a Kotelnik fight amounts to "The one of the biggest comebacks of the last 10 years"

    He needs to just learn to keep his mouth shut about all others matters outside of boxing. You especially don't criticise Wayne Rooney publicly, a guy who is practically a god in the UK to 90% of the fanbase Khan needs, many of which think Rooneys exploits are hilarious with the downside being that he got caught.
