rooting for Lara but admire the guts Canelo is displaying by taking this fight.

    always thought Canelo was a good fighter and that the hype surrounding him was unreasonable considering his actual talent

    level. Alvarez seems to be trying to prove himself against actual threats and I admire the balls it takes to fight Lara. Its a risky

    fight for Canelo, one I believe he cant legitimately win if it goes twelve. Its also a fight he could have avoided.

    If he shows up and fights admirably and its a legit fight, he will have won my respect , because he seems to be willing to take on

    some risk. I think this is important in todays fight game, where too many guys are ducking threats.

    a perfect example is Broner wanting non of Mathysse

    Alvarez definitely deserves respect for taking this fight when he didn't need to. Regarding Broner, he still took a major risk in Maidana when he didn't have to and seems to still be hated on by his fans. Any serious loss after the Maidana fight and his career could literally be over which is why I can't blame him for passing on Matthysse.

    Broner ran his mouth off A LOT leading up to his fight with Chino .

    And from the way he spoke , he made it seem he was going to completely end Maidana's career the min the bell rings .

    He failed BADLY . So you can say he brought it upon himself .

    Hate him or love him . I DO respect the mans heart , he never gave up mentally and kept on fighting back .

    AB got heart . No doubt about it
