Have faith man. Wilder's footwork is MILES better, he shifts in and out of range effortlessly and there is no way Joshua can stop that right. I'm totally confident that Wilder knocks him spark out early. Remember, David Price knocked this fraud out FACE FIRST ONTO THE MAT in sparring gloves. Deontay will punch through his guard. I actually think Joshua will completely freeze. He will be paralysed by fear, he is terrified of Wilder.

Joshua is too stiff to cope with Wilders wildness.

He'll be sent into the wilderness.

Not to mention Joshua's power will diminishe once he comes into the fight as light as he did against Parker. Or if he bulks up and gases.

Wilders boxing skills are underrated. He has a decent jab and very good footwork. People forget Ortiz is a very wily southpaw who would make fools of many which is why he was avoided for so long.

I'd have to disagree, AJ's skills are overrated because of his Gold medal pedigree but that doesn't make him the equivalent of past ATG greats that won the Gold in the past. He started boxing late, failed to show any advanced boxing against Parker, didn't set up any traps that Parker didn't see ahead of time, he's relatively slow and stiff to the point that somebody with quick reflexes should not get hit with anything big from him. Wilder has underrated skills and I like that cause folks keep underestimating him including Ortiz who foolishly thought he saw all that Wilder had to give by the end of the 6th and that lead to his downfall.

Ppl need to get the boxing snob ego out of their system (not accusing the OP but many others) and objectively analyze these fighters for what they truly are. Ironically it was Wilder who set traps on Ortiz but if people want to pretend those right hand counters landed by luck then by all means go ahead. Ignorance is death.

This is why the fight needs to happen, for the boxing and their real fans. I can't imagine you liking that Eddie Hearn is playing games with the negotiations.

Rooting for Joshua but im nervous. Joshua is guna play it safe again and is the better Boxer and should be getting the upper hand even if he does, and he will, play it very safe. This isnt guna be an amazing fight but i know we will all be on the edge of our seats the whole time, i see Joshua walking Wilder down but Wilder dont mind that he likes to take those small steps back ready to sit his weight on that back foot and launch that right hand.

I dont think Joshua is great with unorthadox angles coming at him, cant say ive seen him having to deal with much but everybody throws a wild one at some point and he dont like it and Wilder does throw some wild ones. But then with those wild ones comes exposure which Joshua is more than capable of taking full advantage of.

I give Joshua the upper hand but this is a tough fight.

I think if they box ten times Joshua wins 6 or 7 of them. The other times wilder lands. So I go for Joshua but he will need to be at his best. Should be a great night whichever guy wins because at the end of it there will be an undisputed heavyweight champion. Great for boxing.

I think joshua takes this, neither are that impressive at the moment but wilder less so for me plus the fight will most likely be in london which will help joshua in lots of way, joshua to raise his game for this one i think

Unorthodox angle is what keeps Wilder in this fight IMO. AJ will have no clue where the shots will land.
Klitschko fight gave him some experience and confidence, plus he has the fundamentals down. Not a skilled craftsman yet.
Deontay won't win by out boxing, He's got to turn it into a fight. I think both guys get dropped and the loser will have reason to ask for a rematch.
Wilder has to watch out for that uppercut on the inside, AJ is pretty quick with it.

If it's in the UK, Joshua takes it.

Would like to see Deontay bounce a couple of right hands off his chin early though, just to make it interesting.

Wilder has a excellent Ring IQ, studies his opponent and is patient, has a good chin, is fast of hand and foot, can go hard 12 with zero stamina issues, is awkward as hell, most likely the hardest hitting current active Heavyweight and has the will to win.

The only reason Ortiz went some rounds was his southpaw stance, otherwise he would have been blasted out rather quickly, Wilder hurt him with every punch he landed right from the beginning.....Ortiz was well schooled, fit to go 12 and never been down and still got knocked down and eventually KO'ed.

AJ is stiff as a board, zero head movement, questionable stamina when pushed, mediocre chin, IMO, not a smart fighter but brings size, a good jab and decent infighting abilities for a big man......but he has a robotical approach, he is not fluent. Power? Overrated, needed a ref stoppage over shot to pieces grandpa WK......ref stoppage against cannonfodder Takam where he landed every punch in the book..........and last but not least the Samoan "Silent Agreement" Parker who never came to fight in a stinker, I never rated Parker, he sucked before the AJ match and he will suck the moment he steps up again.

Anyway, Wilder will force a shoot out, no doubt, and if the safety first washed up old timer WK can land the right hand so will Wilder, guaranteed and it will be lights out.............that is the sole reason AJ's team is stalling the fight, they are not confident that he can defuse Wilders right or his ability to take it. Fact.
