I'm still not sold on Rory. BJ is a shell of himself and was fighting above his best, however that was still a very impressive performance. condit although beat the living **** out of Rory in that 3rd round, and since then he's fought guys who have never even flirted with the top 10 at WW. I want to see what Rory will do against a true top WW, and also a strong wrestler. Rory trains with GSP, but does that mean his wrestling is on the level? Also, Ellenberger is, in my opinion, the most dangerous guy and well rounded guy in the division behind GSP. I really wanted to see Ellenberger fight Hendricks because I thought he would de-rail him.
Good fight! If Rory wins then give him one more fight and after that it'll be time for GSP to **** or get off the pot. :yep :hat
Worth remembering that Rory was 20 years old in that fight. And for the first two rounds he pretty much tooled Condit before getting hit with a big punch at the start of the 3rd and showing toughness and heart to soak up a 5 minute beating during the round. :smoke :hat
I feel like we have been over this a million times on this forum, so I won't bother elaborating, but no he didn't.
TBH it's been a good while since I watched that fight. From memory, a Rory decision 2 rounds to 1 was a pretty clear outcome if he had survived round 3. Maybe a draw based on a 10-8 for Condit in the third. But as I recall, (and again, I haven't watched the fight for months), Rory outscored Condit quite comfortably through the first two. :good :hat
Nah CC landed the better shot in the first and second round and if my memory is correcte RM didn't do much with the TD... Don't get me wrong by UFC judging criteria he won the first round easily...but on my card CC won the first
Do it, it's a nice fight, but if I have 1 advice to give you, watch the fight without Rogan hyping Rory....
Kudos to anyone who wants to fight Jake Ellenberger right now! Cannot wait to see this, two of the most dynamic WW's in the world currently, fantastic fight! Rory - how is your chin?
