Likely choice is Hardy vs Lytle winner.

 

I'd like to see him vs Brian Ebersole, no need to throw him to the wolves too early, no matter how good he looks, as we already know he can be hit and hurt. Ebersole is a quality veteran and would be another good test in his development.

However, I fully expect the UFC to view MacDonald as the man to remove Jon Fitch from title shot discussions, and so MacDonald vs Fitch will be next up.

 

I ****ing love the welterweight division. There's always such entertaining fighters who will never get the belt because of the three ****ing wrestlers..

I think 'The Waterboy' Vs Kampmann; a good step up against a top contender who doesn't have a fight lined up.

Damn that GSP who diligently worked on his wrestling after his 1st title shot and improved all aspects of his game. We need strikers like Dan Hardy at the top of the division imo, he throws sloppy hooks and has a mowhawk. Much more worthy than these damn boring wrestlers.

Now guys like Rory and Condit who can do everything well wouldnt be **** without the example set by Georges, Id much rather him just stand and bang. Much more interesting...

SERIOUS potential. Even the Condit fight was awesome. Condits on a high and looking for better things. Hopefully they can rematch when he catches Condit on the downside. Maybe Condit and him will keep winning and its a title fight!

 

Rick Story would be a good fight but if Ol' Charlie can hold Story down on a 36 hour notice then I don't think he'd pose much of a problem to Rory. I just figured Hardy/Lytle because both are now reduced to mid-level contenders (unless Hardy VASTLY improves his ground game) and names to go on Rory's resume. BJ Penn would be a little much for the youngin
lol.

 

McDonald is a true prospect but I didnt like the fact that he can be taken down with relative ease.

 

The kid's a ****ing stud, for sure, and at his age he's got plenty of time to add more tools to his game. I'm not saying that his potential ceiling is as high as GSP's but he's beating up really high caliber fighters with a wide variety of tools and he's training with the guy to shore up that loose takedown defense so....yeah. I think we're looking at a definite future title contender and possibly a champ in waiting.
