Lets say Lemmy comes in unprepared, and Rosado doesn't get a busted eye in the first few rounds. It would make for a really good fight. And the first one was a hit on HBO. (Did better numbers than the BJS fight)
Would be nice to see that rematch, lots of action, trading blows, blood and guts, but it's unlikely the endresult would be much different. Maybe Rosado makes it to the final bell, and can keep it close, but that's about it.
I guess Rosado wants to know what it feels like to be KO'd cold like Stevens, that's the most likely outcome, or at the very least, TKO'd like the first time. He got rocked a few times by Tapia, he's been in so many wars, its only a mater of time before he reaches Bryan Vera level chin. Rosado has also probably deluded himself to think that he's on Saunders level. After all, he convinced himself that GGG had the knuckle padding removed from his gloves.
He doesn't seem to give credit for the obvious in his fight with GGG. I think he thinks he's at a higher level than he is. He also wants Lemieux because he is probably down after the Saunders fight imo !
I do feel the same. For a while he was looking to improve but it didn't quite work out for him. And now hes back with his original trainer, who frankly can only get him so far. Rosado seems like one of those fighters who focuses more on physical fitness, rather than the technical aspects of boxing. Oh, you can throw 100 punches a round for 12 rounds? Amazing! ...But do you know how to land any of them?
Cash out with a fractured jaw.. As usual Gabe gets stopped again like in any of his other important fights.. best of luck to him,, Hell need it
Yep, Rosado is a very good fighter to watch, and even when he loses he makes the fights close. He is relatively easy to hit though, and given his heart, facing a power puncher like Lemieux will not be good for his health. He should fight a couple of light-fisted cans for a change instead of all the baddest dudes in the division one after the other.
Oh come on IB... Rosado got shafted against Murray and deserves a rematch. Lemmy is on the slide and ripe for the pickings. Rosado can conceivably win a rematch.
He couldn't beat Lemieux when both on their game, I found it kinda snide wanting him after him just been schooled
