LOL! I can maybe agree with the bleeding part if he took a couple of shots, but he would have got TKOd? Based on what? Rosado beat him down, Quillen looked terrible. Martinez is getting old but I think he beats Quillin at this point. If I were to watch Quillin/ GGG I think I'd be supporting some kind of hate crime.
Quillin was ahead (IMO), by 1 or 2 rounds, (I had it 2) but there was 3 rounds left, and Rosado seemed to have the momentum in his favour. Sure, if fountains of blood were gushing out of the cut, or it rendered him unable to see to defend himself, then yeah, it should be stopped, but that didn't appear to be the case. If Gabe was still able to fight (and defend himself) effectively, he should have been given that opportunity. From the results of the official scorecards, it is apparent that he couldn't have won short of a KO (which TBH never looked particularly likely), but he should still, in a title fight, have been given the chance.
Koba you have it spot on it was 1 maybe 2 at best was a cracking fight at the time of the stoppage. THe cut was bad it was a wise stoppage. If GBP and Quillin had any integrity, which they do not, they would rematch. Rosado would win unless the champion thinks of a different strategy. Left Hook. Period of inactivity. Left Hook.....
Agreed. I suppose it's cos US fans yearn for the days when they dominated middleweight boxing. These days they are desperate for ANY success, and are clutching at straws. Rosie is very ordinary, but he is a brave man. They also rave about Quillin, Curtis Stevens etc...atsch Strangely they seem to overlook their one real prospect..Danny Jacobs.
