Ref stopped it early in the 12th round when the fight was really close.

That Rose-Alcine fight was dodgy to me. Rose's reaction was strange. As if he was expecting it to end at that point. No emotion at all.

 

Yeah, made a beeline for that stoppage.

It was a bad stoppage, I think Alcine would have gathered his senses. Rose isn't anything special.

Nowt wrong with that but Sky/Eddie seem set on finding world level guys. Fact is there's never many of those around in Britain at once.

That's twice recently that refs have been desperate to stop a reasonably close fight. Purdy wasn't looking too clever in his last fight either until the ref insisted that the doctor stop it.
