    In all seriousness, who will replace him? Because if they find someone who knows less about Boxing than Greenburg then HBO Boxing is in trouble.

    Greenburg and Davis were horrible at their jobs, about time. Imagine if Hershman was in charge there, the sport would be much better off. Hopefully somebody who actually likes and respects boxing takes over and not someone who eats out of the hand of Golden Boy and Haymon and who's primary goal is to counter program Showtime.

    Showcase fights aren't going anywhere. This just means that Arum will get more of them and Haymon less in my opinion.

    Kellerman was Greenburg's boy and there are strong rumors his contract won't be renewed either. I hope it happens Kellerman is incompetent and not qualified for the job.

    Can you imagine if they turned around tomorrow and announced they were cutting boxing from their budget entirely and replacing with MMA and other sports/series?

    I think it will change things, Greenburg was never a boxing man. Maybe we'll get a little less personality building a little more competitive fighting with him out of the picture.

    His great strategy was to pay fighters millions to fight safe fights, so HBO wouldn't lose their investment in building up the house fighter.
