Not only did he destroyed Wlad, he also did better than Wlad against Corrie Sanders, and better than Corrie Sanders against Vitali Klitschko.

Well for a start no man who steps into the ring, and achieves any sort of success in the ring
absolutely does not deseve to be called a '' bum ''.

Your comments says more about you than Cleveland Williams.

Hmm...I'm not belittling what Ron Lyle suffered whilst in prison but sepsis or post-sepsis syndrome
almost 50 years after he was stabbed ? That does seem unlikely.Even if that was the case Ron
didn't incur the same pemanent injuries that beset Cleveland Williams.
In George Chuvalo's ' Best I've faced ' article he stated that George Foreman and Mike DeJohn were
the two hardest punchers he faced. This was a defined stipulation of the hardest punchers where only
    Foreman and DeJohn were mentioned.
Chuvalo used Frazier ( along with Jerry Quarry ) to illustrate how the impact of their punches differed from those of Foreman's.
This wasn't Chuvalo nominating Frazier as being one of the 3 hardest punchers he ever faced.

Yes he did, permament injuries because Lyle died from them.
Williams died by getting hit by car while Lyle died from abdomen sepsis.

There's comparing of Frazier and Foremam punching power.
You didn't read whole article didn't you?

Congratulations on becoming a doctor. You do surprise me.Fancy knowing that Lyle died
from his original stab wounds when there is no medical evidence to back this up.
Yes of course I read the entire article. Are you deliberately being obtuse ?
I highlighted that Joe Frazier was compared to George Foreman in terms
of how their punches felt different.Chuvalo also mentioned Jerry Quarry in the
same sentence to illustrate his point. How on earth is this saying Joe Frazier was
in the same league as George Foreman for punching power ?
I remain highly sceptical that Ron Lyle's death was a result of his being stabbed about
fifty years earlier. However if you can provide a source confirming what you stated about
about Ron's death then ok I stand to be corrected.Otherwise I remain very, very sceptical
    about this being the case.

It wasn't just stabbed skins but organs who failed working, shorter life of organs because stabbings.

You can find in Lyle book where it said that Lyle died from sepsis because sepsis got the same place where he was stabbed...coincidence...I don't think so.

According to the Denver Post story about his death, Lyle died of a stomach abscess that became septic.

And I will toss this out that I mentioned in another thread yesterday … I’m reading the 2011 biography of Jerry Quarry and in the part about the Lyle fight, the authors say Lyle was an exaggerator and tall tale teller and insinuate, and no they don’t offer any evidence, that his tale of being stabbed and nearly dying in prison was BS.

Of course nobody is doubting that Ron Lyle was stabbed and came mighty close to dying on the
    operating table.
Ok leaving aside my sceptism about Ron's death arising from the consequences of his being stabbed,
it's obvious that he did not incur the long term damage that,in a practical way, harmed his progress as a boxer. This is certainly was not the case for Cleveland Williams,

He did not came mighty close to dying, he died and was death, his heart stopped working for a moment.
It did because we have never seen him in his young year because he was in prison so we do not know if that hurt his performance.
Ron died form sepsis from that same place while Williams died by being hit by car.

No again you are totally missing the point.Whether in medical terms Ron died or not isn't the issue.
The point is there no way Lyle suffered the same long-term consequences that Cleveland Williams
    did.
Lyle was soon on an exercise programme of push-ups,squats etc while in solitary confinement.
There is simply no way Lyle suffered the same term that Cleveland Williams did that would have
affected Lyle's performance as a boxer.
Whether or not Ron died in the strictest medical sense is not really what is being discussed.I'm
not in anyway making light of what happened to Ron, but it is clear that his injuries did not have
the same impact on him in a tangible way as a boxer that Cleveland's injuries had on him.

Yes it is according to Denver hospital Lyle suffered the same long term consequences because he died from that stab wound while Williams was struck by car plus Lyle was stabbed way before even started boxing and being in his prime.
Not only that affected Lyles performance but late start because of prison did to so another things why you Liston fans should not make that so many excuses for Williams when Lyle have much more problems than Williams.

No once again you are completely missing the point. We all know about Ron's late start in his professional career.
We know about the horrific stabbing endured by Ron.However it is clear that any long term consequences suffered by Ron did not impact on his boxing career in the same tangible way that Cleveland's injuries had on his career.

We don't know that except that Ron died later from that place sepsis.

Ron had late start, was stabbed to death and yet you pull 10 000 excuses for Williams who reached his prime healthy and didn't have a late start unlike Lyle.

Excuses ? What the hell are you talking about ? Cleveland Williams needed 4 operations, lost 60lbs in weight
and had permanently paralysed muscles in his hip !

And Ron Lyle died twice on the table, plus he later died because of that plus he hit his prime late so Williams was nothing worse than Lyle in terms of injury.
