Who gives a **** what the guy looks like? That fat son of a ***** can fight. I'm sure there are plenty of other forums you can look into if the way a mans body looks means that much to you.

El Gordo Supremo Ruiz Jr. is an embarrassment to the past heavyweight greats where they actually train and look the way they fight!!!

It just means he has no idea about proper nutrition. You'd have to eat 6000 kcal a day to stay as fat as he is.

Then again, I don't think we watch boxing for perfect physiques (I hope I'm not speaking only for myself here), but for entertainment. Ruiz Jr. brings that entertainment, and that's why I like him. He's also a nice, humble kid- I wish him the best.

Ruiz has actually done a pretty decent job of getting his weight down to a functional level during the course of his career. And, pear-shaped or no, it's entirely likely that he'll do a number on a far more muscular Tor Hamer when they meet in the ring tomorrow.

He's brought his fighting weight down from 297 at the start of his career, to around 257 in this fight. He'll probably never have a chiselled physique; but he's got handspeed to burn and an increasingly impressive ability to sit down on his punches. As long as he keeps his weight down to a manageable level, he could become a serious factor in the division before too long.

I'm well aware of that- I've been following his career from the very beginning. But, chiseled physique or not,- remember that proper nutrition would make him perform even better. And he's been photographed buying Coronas, so I'm inclined to believe that he enjoys the good life, which is unfortunate given his talent.
