The scene has a brief article stating that Malignaggi may have broken one or possibly BOTH hands in his fight last night!! What a rough break for him just as he starts making noise in a new weight division! Hopefully it doesnt set him back too far... What a bad beat for Paulie!!

I honestly think he may have a shot at 1 of 2-3 titles his next fight out, hands permitting. This may set him back indefinitely, what do you guys think??

Has he considered retiring and being involved in boxing in another way or form? I can't imagine how his hands will be once he's old.

Imo its a blessing in disguise, and I say that as a semi fan. The only place he was heading was another lopsided beatdown from an elite fighter. Paulie has taken his share of punishment. Id like to see him get out sooner rather then later.focus on commentating while he can still talk slick. Just me.

I thought he broke his orbital bone in the Cotto fight? HBO got it wrong with the jaw thing

Yeah it was his orbital bone. I have a gif of the shot that did it somewhere.

You would think Malignaggi would wear Winning Gloves every fight to protect his hands.

    lol

xylocaine would only help mask the pain, and actually could help do more damage to already broken hands if you can't feel they're broken. maybe malignaggi did use xylocaine, he does list mayweather as his hero :yep
