Round 1 Goes To Floyd

Im glad Floyd is doing this to Shane.

I want Shane to come in desperate to whup his ass. I do think this extra motivation will
help Mosley be that much better prepared. I think it puts that much more pressure on Floyd. And overall a genuine personal beef always makes for better theater in boxing.

Was the only one confused by Shane for touching gloves with Winky at the end of every round while getting his ass beat?

Ali was dirtier then Floyd in his trash talk. So was Leonard. Much much more.

Fans need to make up their minds.

Is trash talk acceptable in boxing or is deplorable?

Similiar to how Shame had his cell mate Hopkins help him out when he disrespectedly interrupted Money's post fight interview. Now that the shoe is on the other foot he doesn't like it.

 

He sure did. He got called the same **** Floyd gets called now. Brash, arrogant, loud, self-absorbed, etc...

Now people defend Ali against those accusations because he was clever, and he was, but he was also flat out cruel to a lot of his opponents which he largely gets a pass for these days.

 

And he catched hell for it.

 

Mosley is too much of a dullard to try and match wits with PBF in a **** talking contest. He won't be able to match wits with him in the ring either.:deal

 

I dont mind trash talking as long as you back it up in the ring.

 

Seems to depend largely on whether the fighter is likable, or clever. Even if said fighter is calling a guy an uncle-tom and a race traitor.

I am comparing action for action in regards to your statement. Not talent for talent. Ali was great o both ends. Even traveled worldwide speaking to mass crowds.

 

Floyd isn't funny in the slightest though.

He has to be the worst trash talker ever.

And he speaks with a stutter, which deflects from anything he says.

 

Floyd says nasty ****. But it's no worse than what a lot of other boxers have said, but he seems to get a lot more stick for it. Consistency is all I'm after.

 

So you're saying that Mosley did not stoop down to Floyds level and actually go out of his way to state that his clothes are indeed custom, not just the shirt, as Mayweather suggests, but "here, let me show you the inside of my SUIT!" are you serious? Comon now. He got shamed, and all he could come up with on the spot was along the lines of "But you work for my company"....................Need I say more?

He then gets checked on that statement, and then becomes overwhelmed, realizing that his EMOTIONS are being ****ed with LIVE on camera. Gotta love it.
