I think i gave him one round in the whole fight, and that was because i felt a bit sorry for him by that stage. I honestly thought that in the whole fight there were only 2 rounds that you could make an argument for him winning, and even then Pac probably had a slightly stronger case himself.
The same as you... Pac stepped back obvious sign the punches were effective. Pac was running around and doing the tip tap crap he accuses Floyd of doing. its obvious that Pac would struggle with Andre Berto, Shane Mosley, or Floyd and does not belong in the ring with an Elite Welter Weight... Clottey is not elite. 15 rounds would have been too much for Pac.
Pac has a problem with fast counter combos... look at the Morales and Marquez fights. I did not say that Pac couldn't beat him... just said he would struggle.
If I find you 5 clean punches will you promise to leave the forum? if not, stfu and stop talking ****. thanks. :hi:
mid to late would obviously imply that their would be no struggle right? OK........................................Not Obviously you have never boxed
I've seen the fight three times now. . .Clottey could have won it. Once again, he didn't take a fight that was there to be won, like with Cotto.
What the ****? Are you saying that any time a fighter doesn't blow someone away inside the first 6 rounds then it's a struggle? Fair dos mate, clearly the likes of Mayweather and Hopkins have spent their entire careers struggling their tits off.
That's why it's so painful to watch for me. DLH, Hatton and Cotto didn't stand a chance. . but Clottey did. Pac wasn't really able to hurt him, despite those 1200 punches. I'll even venture to say that the most meaningful blows were landed by Clottey, not Pac. Only problem was there weren't enough of them. Workrate and activity almost always gets the nod over defense in a decision. Surely Clottey must have known this.
