Round 3 of Vasquez/Marquez

    Was an unbelievably great round. The whole fight was incredibly exciting. These guys have given us 2 fantastic fights.

    Very close to round of the year IMO.

    Been watching boxing for 20+ years now...and I honestly cant remember too many rounds (if any...gotta go watch it again) better than that one.

    WOW, just wow.

    I am trying to think of a round to top it this year. At the moment nothing comes to mind.

    It was unreal. The only thing that comes close is Barrera-Marquez round 7. But I think Marquez-Vasquez took both the fight of the year and round of the year from Barrera-Marquez.

    The fight was that good, indeed.

    I love to see pure Mexican action like that (with textbook punches, not some wide hook hitting the neck).

    Third was the most spectacularly undulous, but really the pace never let up from 3-6. If you call it ROTY, you have to call all the subsequent rounds very close runners-up. :yep
