Round 7 Alexander vs. Matthysee to me...

It was a huge round for Matthysse, but I don't think quite a 10-8.

 

even if it were scored 10-8 matthyese wouldn't have still walked away with the victory.

 

Would have been a draw, though, since one judge had it 95-94 for Alexander.

 

It was a 10-8 on my card. I didn't actually fill out a card though.

If there ever was time to score a 10-8 w/ no KD then the 8th round was it.

 

Yes, it could easily be scored 10-8. The 7th not the 8th.

 

I remember at least 2 rounds where Alexander was basically out on his feet.

He clearly won that round, but not enough to justify a 10-8 score.

 

That was nowhere near a 10-8 round.

 

Alexander wasn't running the whole round while out on his feet. Think Khan vs. Maidana, round 10. THAT was a clear 10-8 round. I don't think it was enough to justify a 10-8 round because Alexander was still throwing back and landing.

 

He was never out on his feet. Even when he went down, he came back strong. He was more tired than hurt in rounds 7-8 if anything from Mathysse's body shots.

 

i had it 10-8 as well. axelander did nothing but try to survive

 

It was the 7th where I thought Alexander was one good punch away from going down again. And then he got hurt again to the body in the 8th.
