    Come on man, you surprised in the least? I knew this was going to happen. Gomez will look brilliant against lesser opposition, but there was no way in hell he could take on Cotto.

    Completely agree.... The thing is that Alfonso is a nice guy, you hate to see him take a beating like this.

    As far as Cotto "showboating", I think he's just trying to add some flair to his game, most likely to make him a bigger draw.

    I don't think Cotto was trying to showboat..I think he just didn't want to blast Gomez as much.

    I agree, I think cotto's starting to adjust his ring personality to make him more marketable, not that he is not right now. At least he did what he needed to do, beat gomez up, had this been a competitive fight, cotto would certainly lose some credibility.

    we all knew it was a horrible mismatch beforehand.

    only saw bits of it cos i was watching the tarver-woods fight.

    but that looked vicious punishment being dished out. :patsch
