Escobedo is a well rounded fighter trained by Nacho Beristain. Everybody knows De Leon is a wrecking ball....:bbb

1st Rd: 10-9 Escobedo, landed the crisper punches avoided De Leon's bombs.

    2nd Rd: 10-9 De Leon
    19-19 all
De Leon more active in the 2nd rd, Escobedo not as sharp, close rd. Could have went either way. DE Leon very sloppy tonight (as usual).

Can Escobedo last long the way Ponce De Leon is coming in sledge-hammering like this fella has no offense of his own? After these forst two rounds, I don't think so...

PDL is a monster but a little crude, he is there to be hit i someone worked angles, alas Escobedo is getting a beating and crude one

    3rd Rd: 10-9 De Leon
    29-28 De Leon
Escobedo moving wellm but not throwing enough; DE Leon is very sloppy, but much moire active landing punches from all angles. No significant punches as of yet, landed by either fighter.

Escobedo is doing a bit of X-Country.

Escobedo scored with beatiful 3 right counters in the last 50 seconds but PDL is really going in there to make quick work of him, sloppy and ponderous, still terribly dangerous.

Escobedo keeps lowering himself, and De Leon lands punches on the back and back of the head of Escobedo.

Yeah, its starting to get a bit annoying. hes basically enticing PDL to foul him and lose points

    4th Rd: 10-9 De Leon
    39-37 De Leon
De Leon winning the fight by mere output of punches, 4th was close, but De Leon still more active if crude.

He is just loading up a clumsy left hook to finish him on the ropes. I am noticing that he can't get inside this guy's defense and so he 's doing all kind of rabbit punching, hammerin, volley punching... Just terrible, it might go the distance after all...
