How did this thread get to page 8?

If I recall Lucas has been shot for almost a decade.

If Andrade gets matched up with the WBO belt holder, he will win a title. If not, he won't.

You said you were speaking about the future of Andrade. I'm telling you that if he fought Stieglitz now, he would still dismantle him and even Lucas could get the W.

Please people, nobody in the world even in Québec, except Lucas himself, thought that Lucas would win this. And he showed a lot of heart and he was a lot better than anybody expected, give him what he deserve. This guy wanted to come back after his daughter came back to life from cancer. He didnt want to be a gatekeeper, he wanted to prove to himself something, he tried and he deserve our respect.

Stéphan Larouche was pretty clear in his opinion that Andrade was damaged goods.
InterBox started promoting the fight before even giving him a call!
(That's why Andrade looked a bit out of shape.)

Lucas was much much classier about it than his partners and I'm sure his intentions were purer. Finding out immediately if you're still world-class material takes a lot more guts and risk vs. reward and I really respect the decision not to not Brett Favre it or milk it as a "name" opponent, like a Zab Judah.
