The undercard made this PPV any good. Its the young guys like Katsidis and Linares that will save boxing. Not 2 over the hill, defensive fighters.

Hopkins must fight the winner of Calzaghe and Kessler or retire!

Winky must move down in weight again. Pound for pound he is better than Hopkins - he proved that tonight - but he is just not a light heavyweighter.

HBO needs to show this fight tomorrow since the bad word-of-mouth will ruin the ratings if they wait til next Saturday.

no way was it a snooze fest.

both guys put a lot of effort in and it got messy.

    decent fight i thought.

    no classic though.

Actually it was a FANTASTIC CARD!!!

The Katsidis fight was tremendous. Linares looks like the real deal...and that fight was entertaining while it lasted. And I thought the main event was great.

    Ya missed out bro!!!

whoa whoa whoa, hang on, this wasn't THAT bad of a fight. I mean I hate to go against recieved opinion, but surely I'm not the only person who enjoyed it!?! Having said that, being british, I didn't pay $40 for it so I can say that. It definitely wasn't worth $40 but it wasn't bad by any stretch. It was awkward, dirty, close to call and not exactly a war but they were still fighting at a reasonable pace. I've seen much MUCH more boring fights than this.

Those who think that this was a snooze fest need to see the british heavyweight title fight between Matt Skelton and Michael Sprott last week. **** me that was poor. This was average, and when you consider the styles and ages of the boxers involved, hardly a surprise.

I had Hopkins winning marginally, the scorecards where much too far apart for my liking. If Hopkins fights Calzaghe he'll get beaten severely, Calzaghe's sheer volume of punches would leave Hopkins dazed. Hopkins never likes to brawl, he likes to fight in his comfort zone, Calzaghe would not let him be comfortable at all.
