Round one - Guzman uses movement to get in and out without taking a whole lot from Soto. Soto is swinging for the fences and connecting some clean if glancing blows. Able to back Guzman up on the ropes temporarily, but for the most part ring control belongs to the slicker Guzman fighting off the back foot. Round 1 10-9 JG.

How much bigger does Guzman look than Soto being that he came in at 148lbs.?

I predicted Guzman's ego would get the better of him and he would ditch the boxing game plan and trade more than he should with Soto. I think Mayweather will hit Guzman between rounds for being a dumb smuck not sticking to the game plan

2nd round - more of Soto's style of fight but he is still unable to find Guzman's head with anything truly effective. Both guys throwing great punches, only one is moving his head. Closely contested, but 20-18 Guzman.

3rd round - Soto tries to smother Guzman on the ropes, eats some counters including a low blow, clearly very damaging, takes less than a minute to recover. Attempts some beautiful offensive sequences to the body, most however are blocked. Guzman using shorter 2-3 punch combinations, setting, throwing, and moving away before Soto can react. 30-27 Guzman.
