Juarez continuing the body work, John trying to jab himself into position. Juarez going BACK to the body as Chris John tries to reopen that gash. John has a good 1-2 going right now as Juarez will NOT move his head. He just comes in with his head down, devoted to the body work and getting popped upstairs. John is now picking Juarez apart with combinations. John is VERY much in his groove as Juarez is still trying. Rocky is showing a lot of heart but heart does not overcome skill. Chris John is getting really wild for no reason. Rocky still going to the body and John is picking him off with sharp head shots. John is certainly not as boring as I remembered him being before. John's jab is the key to this fight and John just lets his hands go with ease. Round ends with both fighters flailing wildly. 5-2 John so far.
Sorry guys. Girlfriend just got back. Im gonna be in the doghouse tonight, lets leave it at that Okay, getting back to the fight. Its round 7 now, Lederman has John at 5-1 John fires a 1-2 over the top, Juarez ducks under, clinches, separates Juarez with a left hook, John with left and right of his own Juarez on the inside, but john fires back with a right hook, Juarez gets hut with a 1-2, John is scoring often with that. Juarez is doing his best work when he is close on the inside, John is trading with him though
He has short dark hair and a pretty rough Ozie accent:yep First time ive seen John and im impressed, looks very sharp.
I love Chris John. His wushu (martial arts striking) background makes him excellent with keeping at a safe distance, popping in and out of the pocket and potshotting. Reminds me of Lyoto Machida, a bit.
Chris John whippin that ass. Period. Rocky just not active enough; been the knock on him his entire career.
Why is it that everytime Emmanuel makes a good obeservation, Max or Lampley give each other credit for it?
